Glowing pods sway like tiny paper lamps against a cool teal sky. Autumn Lanterns is inspired by the Chinese lantern plant (Physalis alkekengi, also called bladder cherry)—a late-summer perennial whose papery calyx ripens from green to ember-orange and keeps its color well into fall. Those luminous husks are nature’s lanterns, a small beacon of harvest season and the cozy months ahead.
Layered acrylics amplify that warm–cool conversation: molten oranges, ambers, and golds play against deep emerald stems and a tranquil teal gradient, so each “lantern” feels lit from within. The graphic shapes and smooth transitions make this a modern botanical—perfect for a fall refresh without leaning on literal pumpkins, yet timeless enough to keep up year-round.
